Book Launch: Money Grows on Trees by Clarissa Seriña-de la Paz and Sharon W. Que

Best-selling authors Clarissa Seriña-de la Paz and Sharon Que launched their second book called Money Grows on Trees last April 22, 2017 at Fully Booked - Bonifacio High Street. As a follow-up to their successful book I Wish They Taught Money in School, which became part of National Bookstore's best-sellers for 5 consecutive months, Money Grows on Trees focuses on the right mindset for living an abundant life.

2 Authors, 2 Perspectives, 2 Covers in a Single Book

The venue was jam packed, a testament to the influence and success of their first book. As a financial literacy advocate myself, it felt good to see teenagers buying the book and getting into financial literacy this early. I wouldn't be surprised to see these kids become a millionaire (or even a multi-millionaire) in their early 20s.

A Cheesy Post: Cheese Overload Guaranteed

One of the interesting things I discovered during my 2015 UK trip is the variety of cheeses on sale in Borough Market, London's oldest food market (dating back to the 13th Century) located near the London Bridge. Think of Borough Market as a bigger and more diverse version of Manila's Banchetto or Mercato Centrale.

Limited Offer: Uniqlo PH is Giving Away Free Lego!

Uniqlo PH recently launched the 2017 UT (Uniqlo Tshirt) Lego Collection, and from March 27 to April 14, 2017, Uniqlo will give away 1 Lego Polybag for every purchase of Men's or Boys' Lego shirt. You read that right, 1 free Lego set for every Lego shirt purchased!

So last Sunday, we visited Uniqlo - Estancia Mall to check out the promo. Before choosing a shirt design, I first inquired if they still have the Lego polybags ("polybag" is the term used for promotional Lego sets that come in specially marked plastic bags instead of the usual Lego-labeled boxes) on hand since that's what I'm after, aside from the Lego shirt. :P Luckily, they still have 4 of the 6 available designs. The promo mechanics said that the Lego design will be given at random, but based on my experience, you can choose your preferred design once you're in the counter.
